Aurichs Hotel Restaurant Weinbar in Meersburg (Bodensee)

The view from the terrace was terrific - the food less!

Due to the Covid entry bans from and to Voralberg, I unfortunately had to cancel the overnight stay one day in advance. This Covid situation did not shy away from this Hotel Aurichs and charged me the full amount. Other hotels and accommodations fully or at least partially accommodate these exceptional situations. The hotel owner's partner assured us by telephone on September 24th, 2020 that there would be no cost collection. On 09/28 the money was still collected and all discussions with the hotel owner and booking came to nothing. Conclusion ... neither in this hotel of the absolutely incompetent manageress who finances is more important than the well-being of her guests, nor with booking from I will ever make a booking again. I run accommodation myself and under the Covid situations I have had to accept some cancellations, but each of my guests was reimbursed the full payment. ONLY satisfied guests come back or recommend you to others! I don't recommend this Aurich's house to anyone! ! !

And one star is still too many. The staff was absolutely overwhelmed and the service extremely unfriendly. No comparison to last year. Especially the boss was a real disgust. Better hands off!

I'm sorry but once and never again. Staff and the boss's husband just scream. Schlam .. Vot .., I hit you together were the nice words. Breakfast from 08:00? never existed. Missed bus, overslept, no internet were the excuses here. Wear staff and masks? No why too! As a hotel guest, do you get another drink at 9:30 p.m.? No, the staff sit on the terrace and prefer to smoke. Quality of the rooms poor. Friendliness poor Breakfast service poor

Long wait for the food. Doesn't give what is advertised. The kebab shop across the street is probably a better choice.

We were looking for a restaurant and ended up in the Aurichs. We were allowed to choose a table and it was about 10 Wed. until the waitress brought us the menu with the comment: I'll be right there. Wait .. wait ... until the next table got the dining table. Then another guest came and asked when the food would come, they would be waiting over an hour. On our next table: we waited about that. We got up and left immediately. A disaster!

Everything fresh, delicious food fish platter to recommend. Nice service. Koch is really good at it. Keep it up. Really to be recommended.

We never got there because our booking was simply canceled for no good reason! We normally booked through Booking and in just one year! Cheek! We are now going to another hotel and the Aurich is history!

All a bit crazy, but almost all super nice and friendly. Parking not optimal. A nice old hotel. Super clean. I can recommend it.

Visit to the restaurant: meat was tender and fried to the point, the side salad tasted of "freshly prepared, not out of the bucket". We didn't wait long for the food and the waitress was quick; the dishes came hot on the terrace. All in all, the hungry and quite experienced restaurant guest felt in good hands.

The room description when booking (booking) did not correspond to the one in which we were accommodated and I would definitely not call that comfortable. Rather functional and run down. Lamps from both bedside tables were burnt or defective. The remote control had dead batteries and the bed was extremely dusty. Overall to sleep ok, not recommended to linger. Parking spaces are not directly at the hotel and there is no elevator. For people who are no longer so good on their feet, therefore rather unsuitable. Parking spaces can be provided for 7 EUR per day. Breakfast is not included when booking via Booking, it can be pre-ordered for 8 EUR. We can't judge the food, the terrace is very inviting.

Nice restaurant with good home cooking in the heart of Meersburg. When the weather is nice you can sit outside.

We haven't eaten so BAD for a long time. A waiting time of 50 minutes until the food arrived at the table. A family that came after us and later than we ordered got the food beforehand. We had the Bodensee salad and turkey breast with coconut curry. The card says that the salad with king prawns, what was on the table was a scampi skewer that had been bought, and the yogurt sauce was just a little strewn on the salad. In the curry, they probably confused chili with coconut. It is just such an absolute no-go when the boss spreads his mouth out on a 4-seater table with headphones in his ear and cigarettes. Operation was completely overwhelmed, so that even the cook had to help clear away. Ps: If possible I would prefer to give 0-0.5 stars!

We sat outside on the terrace and enjoyed our stay in the restaurant. We can only recommend the onion roast, super good portion and very tasty! Delicate and great taste. We would come back!

Top location: 2 min. Walking distance to the lake, the parking lot, the lower old town, the Meersburg and the ferry port. The rooms have a very nice view. Breakfast was great: muesli, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, fresh piece of fruit, sausage, cheese, butter, jam, honey and margerine were plentiful. There was also fresh scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon and Nuremberg sausages. You could choose to drink from water with / without soda, orange / multivitamin juice. Coffee, tea or cappuccino etc. were also no problem to order. Unfortunately, dinner was not yet offered in May. Danger! Breakfast is only included in the price when booking directly with the hotel - otherwise € 8 / day / person. The service staff and the hostess were always friendly. However, equipment and cleanliness have room for improvement! All orchids looked really poor and did not show any added value. The pull-out couch was not mentioned when booking the three "bed" room and has already seen its prime. The welcome water was already open with a price tag of 3 € on the table. Who opened the bottle and when cannot be said. The furniture in the room was shabby and functional and overall very dusty. If the curtains had had a few inches more fabric, we could have darkened the room somewhat. A separate trash can for the living area would have been nice. On day 4, a hodgepodge of hair types gathered in the bathroom, so that it could no longer be determined which hair is from me / my family, which was already there or which the cleaning staff left behind. Positive: trash was emptied every day. Beds made. Bringing fresh towels (for the sake of the environment, the soap would not have had to be disposed of every day and replaced with a new package ...). Overall, I recommend the hotel and found the stay okay for our purposes.

The Aurichs is a fantastic choice if you're going to Meersburg. It's not far from the water (there is a restaurant with Beatiful views and food attached), the staff a helpful, cheerful and friendly, the rooms are comfortable and on top of all that, it won't kill your wallet.

Comfortable stay in the heart of Meersburg! Location was excellent! Parking is only 5min away. The restaurant wasn't that great, but there's plenty of other options in town. Room was spacious and we had a great view as well.
